Here at Sparky’s Music Studios, we pride ourselves on the approach we take in teaching music lessons. We take an individualized approach with each student, because every student is unique, and has their own individual goals and aspirations. No two people learn the same way and have the exact same goals, therefore each individual will take their own, unique path towards their own, unique goals.
We teach what you want to learn, and we want you to have fun learning! Whether your goal is to get accepted into a college music program, or you want to re-learn the instrument you haven’t played since you were a child, there is a place for you here in the Sparky’s Music Studios family!
Sparky’s Music Studios offers weekly 30 minute, and 60 minute music lessons for kids and adults in a family friendly, home environment. Our instructors have experience in many different genres including, but not limited to, jazz, classical, pop, funk, soul, rock, and more! We offer lessons for the following instruments:
- Piano (5 years and older)
- Brass (8 years and older)
- Trombone
- Trumpet
- Baritone
- Euphonium
- Tuba
Lessons can be held in-person or virtually (Google Duo/Meet, Zoom, Skype).
Alternatives for Younger Brass Students (5-8 years old)
Many students at the elementary level have a difficult time selecting an instrument to study simply because there are so many of them! Parents see this decision from a different perspective; how expensive will the instrument be, how cumbersome is the instrument, and will it break easily? These questions routinely lead parents away from the brass family of instruments, because they tend to be large, expensive, and relatively fragile (especially the trombone).
There is an alternative, and it’s called the pBone (short for plastic trombone)! Lighter, cheaper, and more durable than it’s all metal counterpart, the pBone is a great alternative to introduce your child to the brass family. The makers of the pBone have also developed the pBone mini (for children too young or small for the standard size trombone), and the pTrumpet! These are all great beginner instruments for children, and our brass instructor highly recommends them. If you are interested, check out their website for more information!

- 30 minute lesson: $28
- 60 minute lesson: $56
Lessons are billed monthly. No registration fees and no long-term contracts. Once you’ve paid for your first month of lessons, you will be locked in for the same time, day, and teacher for as long as you continue!
